I have always had a passion for methodologies, tools and techniques to improve processes and reengineer businesses. The section Methodology is dedicated to some of these approaches.
You will also find here galleries of personal pictures of the beautiful landscapes of Southern Africa, as well one of the most amazing natural events you can imagine: a total solar eclipse seen from the bush (I even managed to make a video of it).
With the increase in communication needs, some tools just stand out of the crowd and make your life a lot better (virtually). You will find some of my favourites in the Resources section.
The French version of Gilbert Guerin.com is back on line. All pages exist now in both English and French.
Posted by Gilbert Guérin - 2006 March 12The roll out of the new look & feel of the website and use of pure semantic html to all the different sections, is taking lately a bit more time than expected...
Section Methodologies and Resources as well as the complete French version are still disabled, but I am definitely working on it.
Posted by Gilbert Guérin - 2006 March 02The blog on Six Sigma has been quite popular lately. However, as the content of the blog was growing lately out of hands, it was time on my side to decide to restructure the content and make it clearer and accessible.
In early 2000, when this site was first published, I didn't at the time use all the benefits of the new CSS techniques for the layout, which is creating lately too much effort in maintaining the site. As I go along with the changes, I will then take the occasion to make it full CSS compliant. I expect a reduction in weight of the pages of at least 80%, which will also make the site a lot faster and easier to consult.
For all these reasons, the blog is unfortunately temporally disabled, but we can expect to have it back fairly soon in a better format, and obviously with new entries. In the meantime, we can still be in touch by email on as previously.
